Dr. Rifaqat Hussain currently serves as acting coordinator for education program and Faculty member at Entrepreneurship Institute (EI), King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). Dr. Hussain is responsible for conducting various courses, workshops and competitions at EI with an objective to develop entrepreneurial thinking and mindset among the KFUPM community. He is also involved in teaching in the incubator education program. Dr. Hussain started building his career in entrepreneurship education and interested in teaching and mentoring the students at EI. Dr. Hussain received his B.Sc Electrical engineering degree from U.E.T Peshawar, Pakistan in 2003 with distinction and the M.S. degree in Systems engineering from PIEAS, Pakistan in 2005. He was a working as Jr. Engineer in R&D organization from 2005 to 2007 and as Sr. Engineer in the same organization from 2007 to 2011. He obtained his Ph.D degree in Reconfigurable Antenna Systems for Cognitive Radio Applications from the Electrical Engineering Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in Dec. 2014. He has more than 20 refereed international journal and conference paper publications mostly in IEEE. He reviewed papers for several ISI journals and IEEE conferences. Dr. Hussain’s research interests include microwave structure design, antenna arrays, reconfigurable antennas, millimeter-wave antennas and antenna arrays, MIMO antenna and system level design implementation.
