Dr. Mamon Horoub currently serves as a faculty member at Entrepreneurship Institute (EI) with the rank of Entrepreneurship Research Scientist III, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). Dr. Horoub is responsible for entrepreneurship research, writing entrepreneurship case studies, reports, and research papers. Additionally, Dr. Horoub teaches various module courses (business plan, accounting …etc.) at EI with an objective of developing entrepreneurial thinking and mindset among the KFUPM community. Moreover, Dr. Horoub works as a mechatronics mentor for the students who engaged in the EI programs (ELL, incubator and accelerator). On another hand, Dr. Horoub coordinates the Design Thinking Lab where the student can scan 3D objects then print it using 3D printers, and play with robots that can be programmed using LabView. Additionally, Dr. Horoub is coordinating, with the EI dean, the entrepreneurship forum and the entrepreneurship training workshops that EI conducting annually. Dr. Horoub started building his career in entrepreneurship research and interested in teaching and mentoring the students at EI.

Dr. Horoub holds BSc. degree in Mechatronics Engineering (2004-2009) from Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU), Hebron, Palestine, M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering (Acoustical area, 2010-2012) from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering (Cable-Driven Platforms, 2012-2016) from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia. Dr. Horoub worked as CNC maintenance Engineer (2009-2010) in AL-WOROOD Company, Hebron, Palestine. Then Dr. Horoub worked as Research Assistant (2010-2012) in KFUPM while he is doing his masters. After that, Dr. Horoub has worked as an instructor (2012-2016) in the Mechatronics Lab, Dynamic/Control Lab, Machine Design Lab, and Thermo-Fluid Lab, affiliated with the Mechanical Engineering Department at KFUPM. Dr. Horoub Conducted intensive training workshops for SABIC (2012-2016). Additionally, Dr. Horoub is teaching different mechanics and design courses, affiliated with the Mechanical Engineering Department at KFUPM. Dr. Horoub’s research interests are in the areas of entrepreneurship, structural dynamics, control, acoustic, and mechatronics.
