We believe that Entrepreneurs cannot achieve success alone. They do require continuous help, support and guidance from many people who are directly or indirectly involved in the business. A great idea need not necessarily translate into a successful company but it is the quality of the management team that builds successful companies rather than the technology. Mentoring is an integral part of a good management team as it involves providing guidance and support in the right direction, to young entrepreneurial minds to transform their ideas into successful businesses.
“It’s always good to have a helping hand at the start. I wouldn’t have got anywhere in the airline industry without the mentorship of Sir Freddie Laker” [founder of Laker Airways,]. Richard Branson.
In this collaborative relationship mentees are not the only ones that reap the benefits of mentoring. Mentors too can also experience them. By engaging with and helping their mentees, mentors may improve their own skills. They may learn new business strategies, get inspired with new ideas and expand their network.
